Hi, (Wasn't sure if this was the right place to post it) I was wondering if someone could clarify this for me, we are using Skype for Buesiness as many of our clients are using so I though it would be nice to get the Outlook online meeting feature working however i always get this message with a loading bar 'Resolving sip names from SMTP addresses' then an error saying 'You cannot schedule this online meeting because there might be issues with your sign in account. Make sure you are signed in to the same account you use for Microsoft Outlook. If the problem continues, contact your System Administrator'. The account I have signed into Skype for Business is [email protected] The account I have licensed Outlook with is [email protected] (Office Business Premium) So they are both using the same account so I dont see why I am getting an issue? Is it because my email account in Outlook isnt in the format of [email protected], it is [email protected]? Any pointers would be much appreciated Thanks Miles K.
I have a users that has an issue with the Skype for Business meeting add-in in Outlook 2013 click to run. Every time Outlook is restarted the 'New Skype Meeting' icon on the ribbon disappears. It needs to be enabled from the add-in options (listed as 'Inactive Application Add-ins') every time Outlook is closed and opened again. I have Skype for Business on Windows 7. For a long time I've always been able to click these 'Join Skype Meeting' links in e-mails and calendar appointments from co-workers. Starting last week these quit working for me. No changes have been made to my Skype or Outlook/Office. It keeps directing me to some Microsoft/Skype webpage that wants me to download the meetings plugin.
I already had that, but I tried re-installing it several times to no avail. I can still join meetings if someone directly adds me or if I click the button in 'Join Lync Meeting' button in Outlook (which is weird because neither I nor anyone else is still using Lync. We upgraded to Skype for Business a year ago).
The 'Join Online Meeting' button also does not work.
